Award Pakistan has made a significant impact in improving living conditions, restoring livelihoods, and strengthening resilience among vulnerable and disaster-affected communities across Pakistan. Through its humanitarian and development interventions, award has responded to Major emergencies, including the 2005 earthquake in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the 2010 floods in Punjab and KPK, and the devastating floods in Sindh from 2022 onwards.

Under these initiatives, award Pakistan has directly supported thousands of individuals through integrated relief, recovery, and resilience-building programs. More than 18,895 people received food and non-food assistance, while 500 vulnerable families benefited from multipurpose cash assistance of PKR 50,000 each to address urgent recovery and livelihood needs.

To support safe and dignified living conditions, award facilitated the construction of one-room shelters for 40 disaster-affected families and provided roofing materials to 30 families with partially damaged homes. Access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene was enhanced through the installation of 170 washrooms, 100 hand pumps, 7 water wells, and 1 community water tank.

Award also prioritized sustainable livelihoods and community empowerment by providing vocational skills training to 7,662 Young women, promoting kitchen gardening among 2,350 women, and supporting 2,230 women through income-generation initiatives. In addition, 2,109 community members received disaster risk reduction (DRR) Training to strengthen preparedness and resilience against future disasters.

As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and climate resilience, award Pakistan facilitated the plantation of more than 700,000 trees across various communities.

Through these interventions, award Pakistan has significantly improved access to shelter, water, sanitation, livelihood opportunities, environmental sustainability, and disaster preparedness, creating lasting positive change for vulnerable communities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh.
