On June 29, 2018 , AWARD Pakistan organised a one day seminar on Youth Development at Warispura , Faisalabad in collaboration with Holy Rosary Parish and IDYM. The seminar was organis
ed under a youth development initiative of AWARD named as “ Rise Up”. The sessions in the seminar were specifically focused on the empowerment, education and well being of today's youth. Rev. Fr. Younis Shahzad (Parish Priest Holy Rosary Parish), Ms. Kehkshan Jibran (Program Coordinator AWARD), Mr. Azeem Christopher (Program Coordinator AWARD) and Ms. Zam Zam Maria (Deputy Director Population Department,Toba Tek Singh) were the speakers of the seminar. The speakers motivated the youth on the following :
1) Aim of their lives
2)Relevant Career Selection.
3)Paths of Higher Education
4)Youth Counselling
5)Competitive Examination
6)Quota System for minorities.
Nearly 75 participants were present in the seminar. Ms. Christina Peter , Executive Director AWARD thanked all the participants and the management for their support and cooperation.
